Back Talking with Urban Decay – A Spring Collection Review
Although it may not feel like spring just yet, (damn snow.) All of the new spring collections are making their way to the shelves! Today I wanted to talk about Urban Decay’s latest spring “Back Talk” collection and more! I tried out these products and now I want to give you a first look and impressions review!

First off, the cutest little – compact palette! I was always a huge fan of the heat palette so this is perfect for me! Just like the Naked Heat palette, the pigmentation is great. I love the warm shades. This is a perfect palette for on the go & travel! Just put it in your purse and you are good to go. The shades are fairly neutral too, perfect for everyday looks!
Left to Right: Wild Thing, Heist, Strike
Back Talk Eye & Face Palette
My thoughts on this palette are mixed. I really love the idea of it. The palette has a mirror in the middle that separates the eyeshadow palette from the face palette. I find that the consistency and pigmentation of the eyeshadows is lacking a bit. I applied the eyeshadow to try and create an eye look but the pigmentation wasn’t there as much as I hoped it would be!
HOWEVER – I really do enjoy the highlighters and blushes that come with the face palette. The consistency is better than the eyeshadow consistency!
OVERALL – Thumbs up for the face palette, & thumbs down for the eyeshadow palette.
Left to Right: Back Talk, Shade, Attitude
Hi-Fi Shine Ultra Cushion Lip Gloss
YASSSSS – Okay, so I was super excited to try these baddies out. I am absolutely OBSESSED. The color range is so wide. They have matte and shimmer shades. Bright shades & Neutrals. The perfect spring collection.
Consistency: It’s a very thick consistency so the pigmentation is incredible. As I swatched them on my hand they felt like they would be sticky on the lips but to my surprise they really aren’t at all!
Wear: They wear great. I let them dry on my lips for a minute or two and after that they don’t rub off on my teeth. They are pretty long lasting for a lip gloss. AND my favorite part is the scent. They smell SO GOOD. Like a minty vanilla (:
Collection available soon – stay tuned!
From Bottom to Top: Savage, Big Bang, Bang, Beso, Dirty Talk, Shadowheart, Snapped, Naked, Snitch
Although this line isn’t as new, I still wanted to include it! The reason being is because I love the Vice Lipstick line! These lipsticks are more neutral, and although they are still pigmented, it’s not a BRIGHT pigmentation. It’s more subtle and perfect for everyday looks!
I find them to be pretty long wearing too, but again, a lot more subtle than the lip glosses mentioned above.
From Left to Right: Back Talk, Stark Naked, Gubby, Naked, Comfort, Liquid
The pigmentation of this eye pencil is seriously SO great! It lasted all day for me.
HOWEVER – I realized after using this my eyes became VERY sensitive, red, and irritated. I don’t think it works for me. But overall I did love the quality + pigmentation. I am thinking about doing a giveaway for the eye pencils that I haven’t used yet that are still in packaging.
Let me know if that’s something you’d be interested in! Maybe they won’t irritate your eyes like they did mine!
PHEW – That was a long one. Urban Decay has so many great new products out that are worth trying!
I hope you enjoyed & Thank you Urban Decay so much for allowing me to try these out and share!
Until Next Time,
