Let’s face it, we all want to say we have all the time in the world and actually mean it. The unfortunate truth is, days are over in a blink of an eye. I don’t know about you but every time my alarm goes off in the morning I sigh, huff & puff. I wake up and I replay each day the same, beginning to end. I hardly ever feel motivated to get anything done. If you feel like me & each day is a struggle to wake up and kick the day’s ass, then here are a few things you need to know about how to motivate yourself & be your own biggest motivator! Read them & put them to use !

1. Have a morning routine.
This is by far one of the most important routines to have. If you are going to have a routine, this is it !! Having a morning routine not only helps you wake up and start your day, but it helps to motivate you for your day as well. A morning routine example:
Wake up, brew a fresh pot of coffee,journal , exercise, shower & go.
Having positive daily habits that you do continuously, helps more than you think.
2. Morning yoga/exercise
Now I am aware that exercising and yoga may be the last thing you want to do but, it really works ! After a morning exercise your body feels awake and ready to kick the day’s ass. It’s a must try !
3. Keep a clear workspace and/or environment.
Having a clean house and work space makes me feel positive & motivated. If my room and house are disasterous then I don’t want to even be around it. It makes me feel lazy. If I have a clean environment, I feel as if I can accomplish more without worrying about cleaning ! It’s important to make sure your environment is always tidy, or at least try! This keeps me feeling motivated 100%!
4. Lists, lists, lists
Lists are one of my favorites! If I have what I need to do written out in front of me then I am that much more motivated to get it done. To do lists are my go to! I always reccommend making lists to everyone. It’s an easy way to keep track of what you have to do and in my opinion motivates well.
5. Who motivates you?
Figure out who motivates and inspires you and always turn to them when you need a boost. If I need motivation to blog, I will read many blogs of those who motivate me and inspire me to write. If you need motivation to clean, watch a famous YouTube clean and organize their house. Let’s face it, we are all guilty of following fitness gurus on instagram to motivate us to workout !
6. Vision boards
I love vision boards ! I create vision boards of positive quotes and images of future homes and/or places I want to travel. This helps to motivate me to save money rather than spend so that one day I can make my dreams a reality.
If you are a big spender, now is your time to save. It is a huge motivational tactic. Whenever I save my money and watch it grow, it motivates me more and more to continue to save rather than spend. This could just be a “me” thing but, try it ! You never know.
